Bearded Dragon Vivarium Setup – Gold

Our Gold Bearded Dragon setup uses a large vivarium that is suitable for a juvenile or adult bearded dragon and uses best equipment for heating and lighting. 

If you have a cold or drafty house choose this set up as the addition of the night time heater will be very valuable in the winter months. 

We use an app controlled thermostat (with a touch screen display). This will take control of the basking light, night-time heater (heat projector) and UVB lamp. Automatically adjusting the temperatures for you 24hrs a day. Providing different temperatures from night and day and turning the lights off at night- replicating the circadian cycle.  This is easily adjusted on the touch screen or via the App. The app is great for peace of mind, allowing you to check the temperature of the vivarium when you are out and about. 

The basking lamp will easily provide a basking temperature of 40-45c that you will need to thrive. 

High quality UVB light that will provide the Fergusson Zone 3 (2.9 to 7.4 UVI) that your bearded dragon needs to thrive.  This will automatically be turned on in the morning and off by the thermostat. Please note that the UVB tube will need replacing after 12 months use as the UVB output reduces with use. 

We have tested this thoroughly over the years and have many happy bearded dragons living in these vivarium setups.
