Description
Leopard geckos are so often kept in small, poorly lit housing that doesn’t encourage them to express their full range of behaviours. Our habitat set has been designed by us using all our extensive product knowledge and experience to provide your leopard gecko with the best living space available – and all at a very reasonable price. Plenty of space, a good temperature gradient and access to low levels of UVB for optimum health means your gecko will be happy, healthy and live a long and comfortable life!
Glass terrariums can make excellent habitats for most of the smaller species of lizard, and the terrarium included in this habitat kit is no exception. As glass loses heat far more quickly than wood does, you can achieve the same temperature gradient in a more compact space. This terrarium gives a single gecko lots of room to move around, and there is enough floor space for several hides and branches to enrich your new pets’ life. Although they are ground living geckos, leopard geckos do enjoy exploring different levels within their habitat and this terrarium gives enough space to provide a variety of branches, hides and other decor to keep them happy.
UV light essential for your geckos wellbeing, allowing the gecko to absorb calcium from the diet more efficiently and also helps to provide a day/night cycle. Read moreÂ
Heating is provided by a heat projector. This will provide a basking spot during the day for the geck0, and will also gently heat the air in the terrarium, providing a heat gradient across the whole space.
The touch screen thermostat can be set to control your heat projector in a dimmer setting. Touchscreen operation and an intuitive interface make this unit simple to program, and with a five-year guarantee it’s also excellent value for money.
One of the most important items of equipment in all of reptile keeping is the digital thermometer! The thermometer that we include with this habitat is reliable, robust and with two probes it’s possible to monitor both the cool and warm ends of the vivarium at the same time. We have been using these units for years now, both in store and personally – and we think that they are just right for keeping track of the temperatures in your pets’ enclosure.
