It’s very important to offer freshly frozen pinkie mice that haven’t been stored for too long. The mice we supply have been frozen immediately after humane euthanasia. So when defrosted give the healthiest possible diet for your reptile pet. Defrosted frozen rodents and chicks can be offered to snakes, some lizards, and as an occasional treat to some larger amphibians.
We understand the importance of frozen foods arriving frozen so we use special cardboard boxes (better for the environment than polystyrene), insulating paper wrapping, dry ice* (colder than -78.5ºc!*) and a speedy reliable courier to ensure that your frozen snake foods arrive frozen and in great condition.
By the time you receive the goods the dry ice will have dissipated to the point where there will just be packaging in the box. To be disposed of as per the instruction on the packet. You should be aware that dry ice has been used but as we send in non-airtight boxes your exposure risk to the dry ice is incredibly minimal.

When will my frozen food order be delivered?Â
We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 12:00 pm Monday to Thursday to be dispatched the same day for next day delivery.Â
Orders made after 12:00 pm Monday to Wednesday will be dispatched the following day for next day delivery. Orders made after 12:00 pm Thursday to Sunday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery. Frozen food orders will not be dispatched or delivered on bank holidays.Â
Please ensure that you are able to receive your delivery, a signature will be required. Delivery day is not guaranteed
Please do not place an order if you are not able to receive the delivery. We cannot be responsible for spoiled frozen foods if the delivery cannot be made on the first attempt.Â

We are unable to accept returns of frozen foods. If you are dissatisfied with an order please contact us directly via email (info@evolutionreptiles) with photographs and a description of the issue. Please note we cannot be held responsible for frozen food deliveries that are delivered defrosted due to delay caused by the delivery address being incomplete/incorrect. Frozen food is guaranteed to arrive frozen (at time of delivery).
