Our corn snake set up has been created to be a permanent home for your pet snake. Suitable for baby or and adult corn snake. We have used our extensive product knowledge and years of experience to put together a setup that looks good as well as using robust equipment that will keep your snake safe and happy for years to come. This kit is also suitable for king, rat, milk and house snakes.

The large wooden vivarium forms the base of this habitat is large enough to provide a good heat gradient whilst allowing your snake plenty of room to move and exercise. It is also very secure, although do take care to ensure that the vents in the back are seated properly – and the right way round. The wooden sides allow the snake to feel secure, and the front glass gives the owner a good view into their pets’ habitat. There is plenty of space for enough decor to make your snake feel really at home, and as some corn snakes love to climb, why not provide them with a range of branches so that they can exercise in three dimensions?

Heating is provided by a basking lamp. This will provide a basking spot during the day for the snake,  this is turned off for night time to allow for a temperature drop. Corn snakes can comfortably drop in temperature in night to 18-20c, so if you live in a modern warm home this set up will be great. but if you live in a cold house please use our Corn snake vivarium set up – Silver standard which incluces a night time heater and an upgraded theremostat to allow for different temperatures for day and night. 

When using heat bulbs around snakes, it is vitally important to provide an adequate heat guard. For ease of use the one provided with this habitat kit is robust and easy to fit. Due to its innovative design it is easy to access the heat bulb when it needs changing, and is robust enough to last for years.

The basking light is controlled by a dimming thermostat to ensure that the temperature is perfect for your snake and also efficient on electricity

UVB light is provided for the wellbeing of the snake and also helps to provide a day/night cycle.

 One of the most important items of equipment in all of reptile keeping is the digital thermometer! The thermometer that we include with this habitat is reliable, robust and with two probes it’s possible to monitor both the cool and warm ends of the vivarium at the same time. We have been using these units for years now, both in store and personally – and we think that they are just right for keeping track of the temperatures in your pets’ enclosure.

Should you require a cabinet for your new vivarium, this particular item is designed to form a complete unit with the AAL vivariums. It attaches directly to the bottom of the vivarium, forming a sturdy support along the whole length of the base. Looks wise, it completes the setup into a solid, attractive piece of furniture that complement any living space, as well as providing storage space for the items that you need to keep your snake happy and healthy.
